Performed the 600 mile service interval 1 on Tuesday, then valve adjustment last night so I can load it on the trailer this afternoon to head north to the cabin for the week-end!

Loaded my rifle and went exploring trails on BLM areas in the Tobacco Roots Mountsins. It’s spring bear season.

I discovered if I pull out the too small and useless Honda cup holders, my Yeti 1 quart thermos fits snugly in the hole. That’s exciting since I will pack it with me during elk season. Few things as nice as finding a good spot to glass elk, and enjoying a sip of hot coffee on a cool morning.

I did not see any black bear. There’s a solo griz sow and cub that lives a couple miles east- so she could be around any corner.

Country Way 25gal boom sprayer from Rural King. It fits perfectly in the bed of the p52.

My current wiring setup is kind of janky at the moment. Plan is to eventually put a mounted power port somewhere on the rear of the machine that I can plug either a sprayer or spreader into, with an on/off switch mounted in the cab. For now, I run the +/- clamps over the seats and connect them to my bus bars under the hood. The switch is close to me and I just turn it on or off from there.

But then a little further up the rode I found their rides, and why they were walking. It must have been a Polaris get together...

Had the family, so I didn't go on any intense trails, but we puttered around the mountains. Great ride, perfect weather. Wonderful way to spend this Memorial Day. Grateful for those that have sacrificed to allow us to have this land to enjoy and the freedom to do so. 🇺🇲
