You've got me distracted with the rear winch. Trying to decide to copy you or Joey on the exhaust. How's the baffle working on the magnaflow?
Alot quiter but it takes power away. First ride was with the duals and no baffle. Backpressure blew the tail pipe off and felt like it gained 10hp. Hard to compare to stock gearing. But high is the old low now.

The back pressure with no baffle was higher?

Y'all haven't convinced me yet on the gear reduction. I'm slow hopping onto a bandwagon. Just ask @joeymt33 how long it took me to accept the EcoBoost.

Eco-boost? You mean trucks for little girls? Hahaha!

If It can survive Joey with regular maintenance I'm sold.

BTW: Wife's Explorer Sport has 450/450, the tune is limited because of the drivetrain not the motor. It's consistent 4.7s to 60, my wife loves it.

It gets 22mpg on the interstate.

And........I don't mind going to the store to get any thing she asks me to get. Hell of a grocery getter.

I'm a fan too! Can't beat it in a gas motor!

Just not a fan... my Chevy is the least favorite of the vehicles I've had.
I had a great14, that would pull the poop out of a trailer with a S X S loaded, gas milage would go from 17 mpg to 10 mpg while towing. The Yota gets 14.8 mpg and drops a 1/10 towing???????????

Yup all in good fun, just don't try to sell me on a &@$)(¥%#£{+\! GM product. Haha
Yea GM trucks are for people who don't need trucks, any way the 1500 series. I really did like the motor though, it loved high RPM's in tow mode. It would out pull my Yota, but lost 7 MPG. Yota loses 1/10?????????????

I'd like to build my own truck with a Ford drivetrain, a Cummins Diesel with an Allison tranny and top it with a GM suspension/ride and cab.

That would be my truck.

One of my best buddies that has worked for the big three dealerships and in a Toyota shop and his comment is.... "go find one that is the color to match your boat/trailer/toy/ or whatever and buy it.
They are all junk so buy the one that at least matches your toys!"

That would be a great truck! Don't know about the smoker engine?

He's probably right, my Yota has proved out so far. We'll see.

Unless it's a GM 6.2!

Did you see the tow test up Ike's gauntlet from the "fast lane truck"?

The small 2.7 L eco-boost pulled the trailer up the hill faster than the 6.2! The 3.5 L eco-boost is a beast for a small gasser. I put over 100,000 miles on mine so far with the tuner pushing over 500 foot pounds of torque and towing heavy loads and always hauling a payload in the bed. It's been a fantastic engine.

I just picked up a 2017 F150 with the 3.5 L eco-boost. It's still in my garage getting lift, tires, light bar, tuner and other accessories in the bed for hauling work stuff. I'm sold and got a second one.

Oh by the way, Ford's PDI is about the same as Hondas. The rear axle was 24 ounces low on gear oil! And the transfer case was 6 ounces low. It's sad that I have to go behind everything and everyone to make sure stuff is done right.
