Some guys ....knew of there troubleWhy would you buy a P5...
Because there's a whole lot of bi*****g going on in the P1k threads about those machines. Even from some of the Honda die hard's. They obviously didn't take the time to make it bullet proof like they did it's predecessors. What really sucks is that they payed close to double what I paid for mine. Good luck guys.

So far it looks like that Honda solid holds true for the P500 and P700 and that's why we love them.I do love it... I just wish it were more Honda solid
Btw Trigger did you happen to see at what RPM'S the rev limiter kicks in?
Neither is the pk1...apparentlyThat's why I bought the p5 first... it's a Forman. But it's just not made to do what I want a sxs to do.
Going riding next week end with some site members and I'm sure there will be some P5's, the more I'm around these little guy's, the more I like them. I think Honda has the clutch issues figured out on the P1's. And now I have replaced the shocks, Ow happy days. Why would you buy a P5...

Home page..on this site..I remember when I was growing up that Honda carried a swagger like 'do what you will, you can't break it'. Even a neglected one, rode to death and parked for 3 yrs, would fire up and get beat some more. That was the type of reviews I read on the P5, and then watching Mudd Man torture his machine, I felt pretty confident that it was bullet proof.
I know the guys that bought the P1 were buying with the same confidence, sucks that it's just not there yet. They have to be working on these issues, their reputation is suffering.
