Got radio installed today. Think I going to like it. Little unit draws 4 amps DC in transmission. I’ve got and image file if anyone wants it. Easy to program with supplied software and cable. Works good with windows 10.

@Windrock1000 - Your program screen does look different from mine? I downloaded mine from the Website

That could be a reason you are in Chinese or it could be that I have not found where I can adjust columns in this program

Look at the picture of my computer. Its the same as yours. When your radio is on do you have the little Chinese symbols in the bottom left hand corner?

I tried to find usable repeaters on the Overland trip but the list I found had no functional repeaters.

I don't think that it has the Chinese in the bottom left corner - I know when I press the Function button the Bottom Left says Menu.

I will check when I get home - I am planning on messing with the antenna more tonight.

Yes and mine is locked out for Lang change as well. @my99svt is having same issue we spend some time on the phone troubleshooting today - he just wrote his seller to see if they have idea. I do have different firmware than he does so that may be the difference. We just can not find location on where to download

How do you skip the weather channel in your scan function? Any idea?

Since I can read my screen now- pick the channel you want to skip in scan mode make it the active channel the goto menu #18 skip and enable. This will make the channel skip in scan mode. You have to do it for every channel you don’t want included in the scan.
