Is there a better aftermarket one out there or is that the best?

I've seen others...but there flimsy. Don't have the weather stripping
cheap clamps...can't remember where I seen um....

I FOUND A HARD COATED ONE THAT HAS A LOWER SECTION MAYBE 8 INCHES AND THE REST IS ALL THE WAY UP AND IT POPS UP FROM INSIDE AND HAS STRUTS TO HOLD IT UP ! SO WHEN IT'S UP IT IS ALMOST HORIZONTAL . IF I WERE GETTING A WINDSHIELD THAT WOULD BE THE ONE .

And you don't know it isn't the same material...all I can say is mine hasn't scratched yet. The other windshield I had scratched on my first ride. I've been treated pretty well where I purchase my accessories and I know the person from the dealer who recommended the windshield to me, I've seen it on his machine. I'm happy with the product and with what I purchased it for. If yours scratched maybe you got scammed.

I'm happy with mine too, no scam here. I've been through a thousand miles of dense trail with brush and tree branches slapping it, no scratches still. I believe the steel wool test. SuperATV $300.00 or so.

Well, we got a half windshield to see if we like it. We didn't. Put the windshield on and took a ride, really bad vortex inside the open cab that caused a lot of sand to get all over everything. So we took it back off and went on another ride. Hardly any dirt collected inside. Going to just go with an above suggestion of wearing our goggles. Lol. Anyone near the Antelope Valley area (Lancaster, Palmdale, Mojave) California who wants it we will gladly sell it to you at half price.

No back window, we have the net on the passenger door, not on the drivers door. We live in the desert, lots of sand around.

I have a huge toolbox mounted right behind me,

Unless I change my mind I think I am going to order the Super ATV Flip Windshield. It is hard coated on both sides and all the comments I can find are good. $399.

Flip, half or solid, if you're going to get the hard coat, you'll not be disappointed! Nice ride Jbird!!!
