that fan is slick....I'm trying to use the 4" bilge fan and using a strap across the top won't allow the center cover to fit.....We rode 36 miles yesterday and seat got warm but not HOT.....I plan on getting a @trigger shield at TO and hopefully someone can get me a bracket to fit....Thanks for your pics....
Lots of different ways to mount the under seat fan mod. I used a spare winch mount I had laying around. Fits perfect and aimed it straight at the headers, blows all the hot air out the rear passenger side wheel well 👍

That looks slick as well but these top covers on the '22 models won't allow for anything 1" or wider on either side of the round bar up top....I want the fan for the just in case scenario lol

With the three large switches (only rated at 3 amps) I decided to run some smaller items. Rock lights are on one and I split my dome strips one for each of the other switches. Works pretty good for what I wanted.

I know you have more switches now than a 747, but you could have used those 3 factory switches to power a relay and have load side of the relay use your AUX battery. Great work so far BTW. I'm eagerly waiting for my Green Deluxe. Also, are you happy with the Rough Country bed mat?

Thank you.

First about the switches- there are far more people on the site that can answer and explain your question. I would assume you can do what you are asking. The switches are only rated at 3 amps, but going to the relay should be ok to let it do all the work. @Hondasxs can help you with that question.

I am really pleased with the Rough Country mat. It is a quality product and has the lipped edges to hold things in the mat. My only problem with it is that it and bed extender do not like each other. I may have to trim the raised lip on the ends back by the tailgate to allow the tailgate to close easier. Not much pressure now closing it, but a little resistance it there. Other than that, yes it is a good product. I would recommend it.

V2 Viper Winch 6000- awesome looking winch. It took some time to get nuts threaded on u-bolts by myself but it got done😤. Would have been much easier with another person to help. Even though I struggled a bit, this thing is awesome. No problems with fit. Looking at the Trail Model, the deluxe did not have the side plates (or mine didn’t 😜) that cover the winch. I had plenty of room, no fit issues. Just as @Hondasxs described in the earlier posts, you have to get the top of the mounting plate under the tab of the frame when installing.

I did not wire it at the time of mounting to the Pioneer. I did all my wiring at one time.

Just noticed your winch mounting. I realize that the front bumper on the ‘22’s may be different, but on my ‘18 they recommended flipping the winch over so that it winds in from the top. Much better angle on the rope.

Yeah that was what the instructions said but was for the elite. @Hondasxs recommended mounting it the way it is mounted.

When installed opposite, it does not clear the cross member. The cross member is not made to handle any pressure. It will snap into being cast aluminum.

I guess I need to get some pics of this and add to my install thread sometime.

Hope everyone has safe travels and a great time at Takeover.

Been working on the “Duck Truck” a little. Lol

Nothing major. Crossroads 3D sent some test panels and been messing around with them. Not the finished product but gives an idea on the look. I just riveted it in place but plan to use push pins or nutserts to fasten it for the long haul.

I used the paint marker for the gear selections as well. Thought about finding the glow paint marker, but this was easier to locate and does what I need it to do.

Also, I had a ton of cool stickers and was looking for a place to put them. Not fond of a ton on the outside so decided to start placing them under the hood.

I did find a place outside for a special sticker @Hondasxs (trying to get more speed or horsepower, which ever it provides) 😂😂😂😂

With the 2022 models- the extra ground cable is not present. I didn’t want to ground to the main battery so I added a ground cable to the frame. Removed paint, drilled, bolted cable to frame, and added dielectric grease after bolting cable to frame. So far all components look good. Tests showed same numbers compared to main battery ground. I failed to get a picture of the ground addition.

Also added a couple of battery tender ports to plug her up when not using much and during the winter months. I ended up putting them in the glove box. Out of the way and easy access while being able to charge both batteries from the same side of the machine.

Gun rack

First I don’t have the skills several here have for fabrication and welding. I do neither. But had some stuff laying around that I thought would be usable for a gun rack.

I needed extra space for duck hunting so a gun rack would be ideal to hold 4+ guns.

I had an old 4-wheel cart from TSC that was on its last leg. I used the side and end rails to make the frame for the rack.

Used Honda quick clamps for securing to the rear uprights Everything is bolted together (due to my limited skills). For the holders I first used the “J” shaped gun mounts but punted and ended up using the 7 in wall hangers from Lowes for the gun supports. Two eye-bolts on the back with bungee straps to secure it.

If they are catching too much mud I plan to get a small tarp to wrap them for the trips. Still going to get another coat of paint to cover the new hardware. At first I planned to have upright supports but decided to go a different direction. The “J” mounts can be seen in the earlier design pics below.

Well got the final version of the glove box plate. Ian at Crossroads 3D has been great to work with to get the plates right. I believe he is as OCD as I am. This one mounted to the matching holes on the lid. Used rivets to attach. Ian sent some push pins that would have been great but decided to got more permanent route. Big thanks to Ian.

You may want check this mod out. It would be perfect for duck hunting.
If that doesn't work for you, you could they this mod. Just trying to help out.
Haha. Looking to add a set of these to take care of any problems. But our pit field averages about 8-10” of water. Should be in good shape. Appreciate the suggestions.
Nice to know folks are watching out for me😜😂😜

Big shout out to @Hondasxs for the DIY fan override kit for 2022 PK5. Sent a kit to run with my auxbeam control box. Plugged in and wired to box, worked like it should.

NOTE: when taking the factory plug a part press on the top center and it will release tabs and pull up and out.
