97 Power stroke F350 build.

Minor progress update, got the box off it. Good news/bad news. It has a gooseneck plate! Bad news, the taillight pigtail is facked. A little wiring is no biggie though, frame looks rock solid. Swapping out the leaky rear tank for a 38 gal bronco tank, new coil over shocks and overload leaves, clean and paint frame all while the trans is being done.

Picked this up for a rockin steal today. 7x8.5" flatbed. Needs a little cleaning up and repair, but for 200 bucks I can't b****! By the way, that rooster sucker is heavy as s*** to lift just me and mama up in the truck.

I think white bed white truck would look more like what you're going for, which I'm thinking is like a classic/custom look. Feels weird to call a 97 a classic but you get my drift. Black flatbed says ranch truck UNLESS you're going with black wheels and other black accents, then black flatbed might look better. So I guess I'm no help

It will likely stay wood. I just have to replace the wood with new wood and stain it dark. So white wins!

I had a 95' power stroke 250 HD 4x4. LB, SC With 410 gears. Tuff truck. Had 285k when I got rid of it. I like your crew cab though. The old old style is one of my favorites too. The round headlights where the best.
