Agreed, but it's there and looks stout as s*** so I'll run with it. I don't tow a gooseneck at this point anyhow.
I just boxed around mine then when I put the wood on I did not cut a hole for the gooseneck I just left the wood there in the future if I needed to gooseneck then I would cut the wood out and install a ball. I sold the truck before I ever needed the gooseneck

I'm planning to go ahead and cut the hole out and put a trap door on it. The ball will sit below the deck even with just a standard ball on it, that way it's ready to go if needed.

Yeck! So far I've only got one stuck seat belt bolt, resulting in a broken torx head. Lord how I hate torx heads.

Dang ive pulled countless seats from those rigs, getting the seats reapolstered, our fleet used to be all fords around that era of truck and a little newer, ive havnt ever seen a seat bolt brake, they are huge, like m14 or something. That sucks.

Ya roads salts suck, and that is one tool where snap on stuff is worth the money. Their allen and torx bits are head amd shoulders above any thing else out there. Found that out torqueing down a cat c7 head bolts that was a t55 broke my socket then a few others in the shop. The only one that would hold the torque spec was snap on.
