I’m kinda new to SXSing and was wondering
How big of a bag of ice can I run without a lift?
I’m worried about drinking warm beer. Thanks for the help.

Definitely makes a difference. Whiskey cubes last longer but crushed ice packs tighter.

You do put the beer in first and then pack ice in around and on top until the cooler is full. Doesn’t matter if you’re taking 1 beer or 2 racks you have to fill the cooler with ice or it will allow a spot for hot air and your beer will get warm.

Well if you go above a 10lb bag of ice you will need a whole new suspension cause a Honda can’t haul sh!t

Well, I’m thinking a long day out on the trails, so a couple hours I guess.🤷‍♂️

Pre-chilling is key along with the bottom layer being a single chunk of ice. I use a plastic shoe box and freeze it a week ahead of time.
Fits perfect.
Then pack about 10 sodas, few partly frozen Gatorade, and a few partly frozen waters, few partly frozen steaks. Some ham, cheese and few other small things.

At the end of 4 day adventure, I still have a decent chunk of ice. Floating around.
