Yes, I know. Over kill on the straps, but I like to be redundant.
Nothing wrong with that, already jammed on the breaks and had my machine sitting on top the trailer jack almost in the tailgate of my truck, not frighten fun....especially when it happens at night on the way to hunting camp night before opening day of deer season

Today I got the dual battery and dual battery kit installed as well as the dual reverse lights. Both of which I purchased from @Hondasxs at the Forum store. I also am buying @Tigermark ’s bumper with the rear lights so I installed that today too. I’m selling the one I won at the Takeover to Hound Dog. I got a 3rd D-Ring for the hitch. I ordered 10 cree rock lights, a 52” light bar and switch panel with switches. @CumminsPusher didnt do anything and deserves no credit whatsoever. Ok, he did everything but the rear bumper...

Thank you to @KyleC for mailing me the brackets to mount my 52” light bar on. They fit perfectly. Thanks to @CumminsPusher for helping me install all my electronic gadgets and gizmos. The 52” bar is on and so is a 12” flood on the bumper as well as 6 switches, another 12 volt socket and two USB ports. He also helped me wire up the winch and a few other things...I came here with 60 miles on her and now have a little over 800. The stock tires are wearing down really quickly. I fear I’ll be replacing them very soon. I still need to wire up all the Rock lights and @knuckledeep ’s bumper’s lights. Running out of room for the Ferron ectoplasmatic phasal afterburners, photon torpedo tubes....and a buchet. That’s the French kind...

looks good buddy how do you like it compared to the p500
No comparison really. I think both are good for what they do. I’d still rather have the 1000-5 though. The only reason I’d keep the 500 will be for bringing friends, when going to a 50” restricted areas or, on the narrower trails at home. If there weren’t any 50” gates on trails, I’d probably just make them wider with the 1000. The temptation would be too great to ignore, if there were no gates to impede forward movement. Plus, a 50” trail would seem to imply more technical riding for the larger 1000. Even with limitations and restrictions going in everywhere across the country, I think I’d still rather have the 1000. Here in Wa, there are far too many restrictive trails which makes it frustrating when only towing the 1000.

Now I need to replace the tires and rims. With so much to choose from, it seems like a daunting decision. I wish we had a fair judgement online comparison review for tires and rims.

The gates around here are to save you from making a terrible mistake, the P1 on real 50" trails implies bent rops and broken fenders. o_O
Means that around here too but that gets disregarded, even the single track becomes 63 wide. If trail isn’t wide enough it will be shortly lol. Lot of times were the ones making the trails...

Well, the stock tires finally bit the trail dust. They are absolutely worn down. I decided to stay with 28/10/12 so I wouldn’t have to buy new rims etc. At RMATV I typed those in and only 7 tires were available and of those only two fit my requirements. The ITP BLackwater Evo’s And the Tensor Regulators. I spoke with a few of y’all on the phone and read a bunch of thread posts. I went ahead and ordered the Tensors and boy did that hurt! At nearly $40 more per tire than the EVO’s, it brought the total to just under $800. They seemed like a better all around tire more suited to fit my needs, considering the various terrains I ride in across the country. They also looked like they’d handle pavement better without too much tread loss as well. I hoped I made a sound decision and they had excellent reviews so we’ll see come Wednesday when they arrive. Thank you to everyone for their advice, even if I didn’t buy your particular brand. Here’s some pix of the stock tires as they currently look. I got only slightly more than 1000 miles out of them with approximately 100 miles of pavement. They are nearly bald and the one has 12-15 plugs in the sidewall.

Got to Westside powersports a little early just to miss rush hour traffic, so I could get the Tensor Regulators mounted and say goodby to the POS stock tires. So I go in there after them telling me yesterday it would be $120 only to be told it’s $143 and some change. But then he said they’d be balanced in everything. When it was done an hour later there were no weights on the tires so I asked about it and they reduced the price to $86 and some change. Tires look burly, I like them. Going to have to give them a spin here in a minute out in the mud zones of North Idaho.

Looks good!

I got the fronts on but not the rears yet. But at Taylor Park reservoir they made a big difference for my front end. Again I think you tremendously. You rock!

So, I went out west with 60 miles on the 1000. In three months time, I came back with 2,590. On the days that I rode, I averaged around 6-9 hours per day. My ass hurts and I need better seats. I started folding a towel to sit on and then a thin blanket. Seats are a definite upgrade in the future, if there is such a possibility.......?

@100Acre you’d have a hard time fitting in the buckets in windrocks rig you’re a good 3-5” taller than me and I struggle to fit comfortably in his. Seats are COMFY though. I picked up some RZR seats for @JTW a few months back and I tried them in my rig with them just sitting on the under seat frame. I’m not sure if it’s how windrock has his mounted or a different seat from a different model rzr or what but there was room to mount them and it be comfortable for me and maybe for you. I briefly considered keeping them and just sending money his way :D or finding a set for myself but I got busy working and didn’t get around to it.
