P500 Did the 500 engine come from an earlier machine?

2015 foreman is my guess. I heard the 475cc has the same bottom end is the same as the older 420,just bigger top.

I'm wondering why didn't Honda use the rubicon diff lock? I really want a 500 but I wish it had diff lock and a little better suspension. I'm not racing or nothing but a want nice shocks and all. I still may buy one in a few years if I find a used one for a great price.

The Pioneer doesn't share the front diff. with a Rubicon or Foreman.

I know that, but I'm wondering why they can't do it.

It shares the 700 front diff, BUT the front end is so narrow you can't have a 50" machine using that diff AND diff lock because the axles would be 2-3" long and wold have no way of moving. And always be at an extreme angle.
