Looks great. If you plan on riding any really rocky areas, I'd go ahead and put some angle iron on your side rails while everything is clean and straight
Do you happen to know what size angle iron is required?

2" x 2" x 1/4" works best. A 4' piece will do one side.

I would like to thank ctd power and bones for the files. I was able to locate some used uhmw from a local shop that installs it in semi dump trailers and dump trucks for free! I decided to just make it all one piece and made a front pair of front a arm guards too! I mounted the skid and still need to make the rear a arm guards and then get them mounted up. Thanks again guys!

I see I'm late to the party again, anyone still have a copy of the .DFX file they'd send me?

Thanks in advance and thanks to @CTDpower for the original file!

Great job on the skid plate....Just wondering if you made any provisions for changing oils.....either a door, opening or do you still have to work around the plate.....

This is great work, thanks so much to all of you. I am lucky enough to have access to an entire metal shop. Anyone see a problem using 6061 1/4 " aluminum , I would love a copy of the template in DXF so I can cut it on our laser.. Could also waterjet UHMW if that would be superior.. Is there a DXF with the bend lines some folks have added?
Many thanks

UHMW is the way to go if you ride rough/rocky trails a lot. I used the template and made mine out of 1/4" aluminum and it's held up great. I've only had it get hung up on a rock once in the 3 years I've had it. That being said, the UHMW I'm sure would slide way better over (everything) vs the aluminum.

I made skid plates using 3/16" 6061 aluminum on my previous sxs and they worked great. Tough as hell. They would hang up on rocks more than plastic however. So I put a lift kit on it. :p
