P1000 Finally found a bumper I like... Slasher Front Bumper

Well.. Almost done and ran into an issue. Seems the ONLY winch mount plate they make does not work well with wide spool winches ex. Terra 45. I am contacting them now to see if they have a solution.

Is your issue only with the aluminum fairlead? Or will the winch not bolt up? I had the same issue with mounting my viper 5k winch to the emp front bumper.

It's the line hole on the plate is not wide enough. It will cut into the line. A smaller fairlead will work but then u can't spool up the winch correctly.

Anyways. I'm chopping it up today for a dirty fix.

A few pics that make me scratch my head and WTF.
I emailed Slasher and said... you mean to tell me you make a failed that will accept wide spool but find it acceptable to have the plate cut the rope.
Do you have one made correctly?
Short answer - Nope! And no plans to make one.

One reason I have been slacking to post.
I suggest just using the mounting plate that comes with most winches. But I had already ordered this and kinda like it better than the other.
Also, I found bumper is not made for a super winch. Slasher says only Warn bolt patterns.
I ended up spending a few hours with the grinder getting it fitted up correctly. End result is nice but damn, a lot of work for something so stupid.

Being I also have a super winch, are you saying I shouldn’t order their winch bracket? Any other info would be helpful. Thanks!

Yes, I love it. I like the bracket too. It's bigger then the one included with your winch. So, that's your choice. Just know its made for small spool and you will need to cut it out. Think I have to weld a price too. Also drill holes to center it all up best you can in both winch and bumper. It will not go perfect center but close enough you want notice it.

I also have the Slasher bumper. I like it also, no winch on it yet.
