One thing I like about the elkas. No spanner needed. Those things suck. Allen clamp screw and a round rod with a 45 to turn the nut. No beating with a chisel!

I helped pioneerpete with his a little, they had that same setup and didn't honestly seem much easier. He was getting close to bending the tool.
Yours have remote res which I could see as easier to get around for adjusting though

Did y'all jack it up first and clean the threads? The little round rod can twist with the 45 on one end to get around other parts and you don't bugger anything up.

Lol. Yes we jacked it and the threads were clean. It still took lots of pressure to increase load. You're still turning the nut against the spring I don't know that either would be easier and both you need the tool

Careful Snuff and CP the way you talk about the Fox shock I can feel a case of buyers remorse coming on and the Foxes will not get here till Wednesday.

I truly feel any set of shocks someone buys are so far above factory that people will be very happy once adjusted.

Oh I am certain I will like them better then the stock one I was thinking maybe I should have spent the extra $600 dollars and got the Elka stage 3's

I think they would be comparable to the 3. Nice thing with fox is any updates you will receive and fox is easily repaired by most shops. Keep in mind fox and Honda did work together for awhile on these and both have deep pockets. I think you'll be happy

you wont regret them - I have been really happy with mine and could tell a difference right away - and I really don't even know what to look for in terms of performance changes with shocks. TO me it really dampens or removed the 2nd bounce if that make any sense.

You'll be happy with them. Easier to get parts/service for. Don't know if I could justify the price difference with the 3's/foxes but I wanted the high speed and rebound adjustment and no one has an off the shelf shock with that outside of elka.

What are you setting your Fox shocks at? Plus how many turns front and back. I have mine at +2 in he front and rear. PK3 Thank you.
2 1/4 from housing to upper nut in front. I'm heavier then most though. Rear left alone so far it's been great but only running three people in front so far. I'll get this in this weekend
