Congrats, nice looking ride and you stole it for that price! Keep that wallet out and dust off your tools. Looks like that winch switch needs some attention already.
Sexy machine! Love it!View attachment 67139 View attachment 67140 View attachment 67141 So I think I may have gotten a good barn find. This was in perfect condition for a 2015. The guy was about 70 and him and his wife would ride it up and pick gensing. Other than that all black top miles. Has superatv 3500 pound winch, windshield, Honda roof, nice led light bar and a box on the back. Don’t really care for his box, but everything else was cherry. For $5500 I couldn’t pass it up. Here are the pics, I will get better ones tomorrow after I clean it up some more.
Running 26" tires in WV and KY mud and am very pleased and have plenty of room for a 27" tire. 1.5" spacers in back.Planning on getting it in a couple of hours hopefully. Wheels and tires will be the first thing. 24" is not going to cut it in the mud of WV. Any issues running 27" tires? I would like to go with 27" if it does not rub anywhere...
I dont mean to be a little b*tch but I've never used the winch line to secure my rig onto a trailer or truck. I think I read a thread somewhere that it wasn't the best idea.

Hi,(I like my 17 could have bought a 16 cheaper but I like having auto or manual option and it has preload adjustments all around with dual rate springs that are decent
Hi,
Thank you for the reply. So if I understand correctly, two differences between a 2016 and newer models are better shocks, springs and the manual control of the transmission via the paddle shifters.
Anything else that is different? I have heard the 2015-16 are geared lower. Is that true?
Also, did they do anything to the dash?
Thanks guys. Just trying to understand the differences so I can figure out if they are important to me or not when price is factored in.

The only problem with the green machine is they are even slower than the blue ones.WOW ! WHAT A DEAL ! if it were only blue .
I have toooo many off road toys BUT if I ran across that one I would have snatched it up !
Lol, never thought about it but we should have lined up the different colors and raced them at the takeover. Obviously it has nothing to do with it but it would've been interesting to see the results. Auto against manual would've been a good one to see as well.

My 17 tops out at 39mph.
All models have paddle shifters, 2017 & up have a switch on the dash for auto shift (ECM does the shifting for you). 2016 & under are shift by paddle only.
First & reverse gear on the 2016 & under is lower than the 2017 & up.
I have a 2016, speed limited at 42mph, my buddy has a 2017 and claims he on gets 36mph topped out, not sure about that.....maybe he just can't drive
"If you ain't first you're last!"The blue ones are quick but my red one outran a blue one in reverse kinda like Ricky bobby
If you finish second that makes you the first loser."If you ain't first you're last!"
