Hi,
I thought sharing my setup as I got inspired by some of the posts here:
Im using a Samsung tabA 8” for the gps chip and decided to go with an Otterbox Defender case (as I found a refurbished- like new for 12$ instead of 69$) over an Akron adhesive and ram mount. I glued the Arkon directly on the outside case
I will see the long term durability but for now, its working good and offer a “lean” look

I also put my 8” Tab A in an Otterbox Defender case. Then I hot glued the holes that expose the tablet. You can still take it out of the case with the glue in place.
