I never considered this for weight advantages for trekking distances. Good idea!
Not my video, but you get the idea on weight difference

It's typically cheaper to buy as well. I may look into it for savings at least.

I hit a special this summer on aluminum and got some, but 9mm brass ammo sells a bit less, according to my local Walmart, check out the 200 round packs.....

I think the prices today are low and challenge reloading prices, that's true for myself with 9mm....

I'm going to periodically post links to folks I follow and trust on YouTube for various sources of information related to this thread. I hope they help anyone open enough to listen.

Imo reloading isn't worth it until you get into large rifle or odd rounds

I shoot a lot, and I save quite a bit by reloading. If you aren’t shooting on a regular basis it’s not going to be worth it to reload. I can tell you this about my setup: I can reload everything from shotgun to large magnum rifles and I keep enough stock on hand to keep a small war going from my house. My brother in law lives 3 miles away and has a reloading setup as well. I’m not worried about people that live close, it’s the people from the cities that I’m more concerned about. They don’t know anything about backwoods survival and will be the ones to head my direction in desperation.
