Depends on what you are shooting and the intended purpose. The equipment is the big expense, but reloading covers more bases than just producing ammo. If I buy Hornady 223 with a 55gr v-max bullet I’ll spend a little over a dollar per round. I can produce a better, more accurate round for roughly .38-.42 cents per round. There are 7,000 grains in a pound of powder, with my recipe I can reload 294 rounds. A pound of power alone is $28.00. It would cost me $314.00 to buy that many hornady rounds. I know this isn’t the complete break down but just trying to give you an idea. I reload everything for maximum accuracy. If you are just burning cheap ammo up close it’s probably not worth it, but if sh#% hits the fan and you are sitting on 30lbs of power and have plenty of primers and bullets...you have a better chance than most. Not saying anyone’s ideas are wrong, this is just my two cents.

Have a Dillon 550B mainly for 556 and 308 Ain't been doing much with it though in a while.

I don’t know much about the Dillon line, is that a single stage or progressive? Save your brass, might need it someday.

I went to ALDI's yesterday and they had 8oz packages of baby Bella mushrooms on sale for $.99. I ended up buying 48 packages or 24 lbs total. I'm running them all through the freeze drier. They're good for another 25+ years. I imagine they'll loose 75% of their weight in water.

The other day I mentioned that the world has reached peak wheat production and the demand is outstripping the production ability to meet those demands....Well, with global temps dropping and the early warm, then cold snap will have opened, then killed much of the flowers and buds of much of the produce grown around the world and not just here in America; and therefore we may be looking at some major shortages and definitely more price increases. Especially with regards to fruit and berries and any grain based products...Stock up...Just some observations.

Did you guys know that a very common practice among grain, especially wheat farmers is to spray the crop with Roundup in its last stages? It helps to dry the kernels on the stalk and saves time in processing it. Glyphosate or Roundup has now been linked to cancer and many other intolerances for humans. If you can, try to find some organic wheat berries/seed and grow your own. Like the pioneers did...

Im starting to think nothing is safe to eat anymore. Why isn’t the government regulating this more? They sure don’t have a problem trying to regulate everything else. My family farms and this is the first I’ve heard or doing this.
