Some of the reasons I went with the P5 were:
Originally I wanted a "Dinghy or lifeboat" beyond my bicycle if something were to happen to the tow rig in some backwater forest. I went with P5 over dual sport bike, or ATV due to comfort reasons and gut issues.
Budget, I really couldn't afford something much larger. Especially with all the added upgrades.
The P5 is a good entry level machine and can do some amazing things from everything I've seen on youtube..
It's just the dog and myself. No other family or spouse will be going with me.
I plan on towing it across country so smaller, lighter, better fuel economy for tow rig.
The main states I plan on spending the most time in, Colorado and Idaho seem to have many 50" ohv restricted trails.
If the plan for much of the USDA is to try to restrict more access down to 50" trails then this seems a good investment.
Anything up from the slow Kubota RTV is exhilarating!
