No sir. I have the sub plugged into the output on the sound bar using the adapter that goes from the 1/8in audio jack, to the RCA jacks. On the opposite end of the sud from where your wiring is connected, there are screws that allow you to make adjustments to the sub. Try these to adjust the sub to the sound bar.
