Bhahahaha...so Smitty's alter-ego has a thing for Vanna. Lol
That's funny! She's had so much Botox, I would be a afraid of hugging her, she would probably pop like a pimple!

The deluxe platform works great if you use it as a work machine but it lacks a lot on the extreme performance arena where some are taking them. The base machine is great until you ride a modified machine. That's what I enjoy about the machine. My OCD kicks in and I'm compelled to fix something that bugs me!

If you have OCD get Elka Stage 5's, they've got slow, high speed dampening adjustments, rebound and spring rate adjustments, should satisfy OCD requirements, HA!

Think the self leveling was a joke anyway, another Honda blunder!

I thought they actually worked quite good for load leveling. Definitely not a performance shock though.

I plan on putting mine on the 1000-3 because the rear shocks on it suffer under a heavy payload.

I never had any thing really heavy in mine for very long, do you use the P1-3 for work?

Yeah, the p1-3 is mostly for use around home.

Where the auto level shocks shinned was when loaded heavy for camping trips. They've been off the 5 seater for a while now. I keep the preload on the Elkas set fairly stiff so it's good when the boys ride with me or I have my typical load of fuel, tire, tools, cooler. Also, I ordered mine with 275# rear springs.

Which Elka's did you get?
