I'm looking forward to a ride that the heat actually bothers me. Lol seems like every ride I have been on was cold and wet!

Been researching this pretty good looking for something cheap and suitable. Have come to the conclusion that why just plain old rubber wouldn't work? Everything we're covering has a plastic barrier between it anyway, it's not like were draping it over the exhaust. I have roofers that work for me installing TPO and EPDM all the time. I'm just going to get a cut off and use it. Sh**, even Honda used a thin piece of rubber under the drivers seat. I guess if it melts I'll let you guys know. ;)

I bought a roll of this on Amazon. Its just big enough for the P500 and cheap too. Not rode much since it got warm but will put it to the test in a couple weeks at Windrock.

Between the mice bedding in it and the mud and water saturating it, I got annoyed and trimmed my heat barrier to where it is only covering the seatbelt area for when my kids ride with me. I'm going to try header wrap this time and see how it works. I will say the heat barrier material works great though!

No sticky stuff except for the tape aspect...Would you ever want to remove it to add heat to the cab in the winter or for under the seat access?
Yes in the winter I pull my insulation and enjoy the heat coming up through the seat. This is cut to fit from seat bottom to top of seat back so tape or adhesive backing isn't necessary.
