Lol! I think you may have exaggerated a little on fitting anywhere the P5 will? This was his first time trail riding the 500, listen to what he says at 2:23.

Thanks to Remington for the video.
probably half our trails are tighter with brush and trees and most have mud most the time from taller trees, i try taking vids but its always gets mud in it. i just have no windshield and big diamond plate brush guard n my rhino so it doesnt matter if you hit crap, all we had to mow with was that 60 inch rhino few times a year pulling a big dr mower. bridges where the only tough thing alot of the original ones were pallets on top i had to go through the ditches but we spent the last couple years redoing them so people could get utvs, 7ft wide most of them are now

ive never come along a trail where i could make it if it was 10 inches less, either you make it or you dont and back up.

The P5 is the most uncomfortable and ugly sxs ever made. Lack of storage, lack of suspension, lack of HP, almost embarrassing parked next to anything else. Then we hit the tight sh** and those $30k 4 seaters suddenly become my b****'s!

Gate Bridge Cropped Guess you're backing up? o_O

I think the ugliest award would go to the Kubota. Well actually a tie with the Big Red. ;)

if yours fits with offset wheels and those mirrors, mine will too without. for bridge like that alot of times i just go over the trees or little stuff-why you spend money on bumpers and aluminum under armor
we dont have any of the stupid 50 inch gates at the parks and trails here, the modern quads are over that too. my outlander was like 10 by 55-56 too once you had the wheels and mud fenders

The mirrors break away and have, even with offset wheels it's still not as wide as a 7. Read in another thread too where you're grouping the P5 and P7 together as being able to ride quad trails, lmao!
The 700 is closer to the P1 than it is the P5. Riding quad trails beats the hell out of my machine and would destroy a 700, you couldn't get to them anyway. As for going around the bridge, it's not possible in the wet season, that's why they built them and you're too wide.
If you fit through, it'll be tight for a Jeep. :D

have to see a tape to believe starting at 50+ offset wheels and wheel spacers that its much different then 60 total(couple inches is not make me a jeep, lol
guess I'm going to have to figure the camera I have out how to make a decent vid without being covered with mud, all the vids are only visible for a min or two.

P500, 5-2 offset rims, 27x11 rear, 27x9 front, no spacers and approx 54 inches wide at tires. Wide Mudbuster fenders and mirrors about 56, but they bend or fold in. Biggest problem at restricted gates is if there is a tilt to ground then the roof will rub on high posts. Just another battle scar.

Every fraction of an inch matters on the trails I'm talking about. Again, it's more to do with body and ROPS size than wheel width. Side by side, they are drastically different machines.

I suspect others have experienced this as well and it relates to the OTD price, but resale on these units are pretty good as well. In my opinion, the P500 is at a price point for many buyers including and not limited to those considering a say Foreman ATV which is nearly the same money.

With an enclosed trailer, I need the narrow P500 as I get old and fat. Planned ahead with 8ft. wide, LOL (Return from takeover pic).

I'm at 56" to the outside of the tires. That's with 5+2's and 1" spacers. More than wheel width though, it's the body size, length and ROPS.
I believe I’m at 54” with 26” Ripsaws. Wondering about the 1” Spacers...should I do it? Is the benefit of added stability worth the extra widtho_O
