It’s nice to see the game is alive and well!! My dealer got me on that the first time, and I was able to still do pretty good OTD. When I bought my 700-4 we had an hour long calling back and forth Q&A session. I didn’t get in the truck to drive down until I had the OTD price locked in. If they won’t give you the OTD over the phone, I wouldn’t buy it there. Good luckSorry to bump this ancient thread, but I'm seeing this roller coaster of OTD prices on the 18's now. Advertised as being on sale for 6999, but the OTD price is 8500, another for sale for 7600, and the OTD price os 8700. Highest so far has been 9200 OTD. Pretty frustrating!

You got that right. And if the price over the phone isn't the deal to the penny or less when you walk in then walk right back out.
Seems like every time I agree to a price they try to tack some fee on they forgot about . Sometimes it’s only $50 but I don’t let them get by with it.And if the price over the phone isn't the deal to the penny or less when you walk in then walk right back out.
I think the dealers would be better just to advertise the actual OTD price and save all the sale price plus this and that garbage but I’m not a salesman and the dealers are making it work so who am I to criticize there strategy lol.I'm surprised at the fees! One place had it listed for 6999, but OTD price was 8500. Seems like 1000 or more is common across the board.
If can’t get any accessories thrown in, ask for a free first service, or at least free labor charges?Best price so far has been 8400 OTD .

On the surface, the unit and add one look very nice. I would inspect for any evidence of flooding it and that could be potentially handled additionally during some questioning.
Ask if you can watch to learn, LOL.good idea really, if they do it right. supposed to pull everything apart, inspect everything and set the valves. if you pay for it 2-500
trouble is you never know if they did, i just do everything myself, hard to find someone you can trust for service. maybe 2 people i would trust my machine with within an hour. neither are dealer techs they are normally kids who dont care. they are independent guys that have done the work on bikes, atvs, and sleds for as long as ive been riding, you can find them out there but the one i found through the club the other family
Seems like add ons were for function, not abuse (snorkle?). Check airbox and oils, and if it was a DIY winch install then check quality of wiring to guage workmanship. Good mileage and hrs.
