Need to get a shipping price .......Does anyone have the dimensions and weight to allow the cost of shipping?
It cost me $50 to get mine shipped to me.

I was wondering do you cut the pipe the exact length of the new bushings or just a little longer?

Ok I have all the material need to convert to the commander shocks  Now I would like help with Tire Sizes

I do quite a bit of blacktop ridding and some moderate trail riding have decided to purchase GBC Kanati Mongrel (10ply) DOT ATV Tires possibly 28"s (if they will fit ?) or 27"s

Current tires are Front 25X8.00-12 Rear 25X10.00-12

Question 1 Will the 28"s fit without rubbing ?

Question 2 What size rim should I get 14"? 15"?

Question 3 Should I stay with skinner on front and wider on rear ?
3A If yes 8.00 and 10.00 OR 9.00 and 11,00

Question 4 Would it be better to buy all four same width so I can rotate?
4A If yes what width would be best

Question 5 Where is the best place online to purchase ?

AWESOME Thread and info THANKS to all!

I'm running 28x10 on all 4 on 14x7 wheels. No rubbing. You should take this to a tire thread though instead of cluttering the suspension topic for future users needing this info!

I bought eastenn's shocks. Sounds like I'm gonna need the bushings. eastenn, do those shocks have the correct 15mm sleeves?

I still have some of the 15mm OD that I can send you. You'll need a 15mm drill bit to drill out the bushings a little.

@JMVENEMA I had to go back and find one of my older posts, couldn't remember the size right off. So, yes they will have the 15mm sleeves in them.

Excellent! That makes it easy. As long as the front and rears take the same size bushing then I can just buy 8 of them and be done. Unless I need 16. I read somewhere in here that people were using 2 bushings in each fitting to fill the gap in the frame mounts.

I cut down 2 bushings to be able to have the flatsbetween the mounting brackets. That may be just my OCD showing. I' sure just having the flat on one side would work.

The front and rear do not take the same size bushings. The bolts in the front shocks are smaller than the rear shocks, which is why the front can-am shocks do not require any modifications to fit on the Honda. So, don't go ordering too many bushings.

I can't remember the OD of the bolts, but I do remember the front bolts take a 14mm and rear are 17mm.

Good to know. The only number I saw was the [HASHTAG]#2056[/HASHTAG] bushing. Not sure if that was for the fronts or rears. Do all 4 of those shocks need the bushings replaced or just the rears? I knew the front's were direct bolt on but was under the impression your shocks all had bad bushings.

Only need bushings for rear upper and lower eyes because of the steel sleeve being changed

The [HASHTAG]#2056[/HASHTAG] bushing is for the rear. 1 bushing for each sleeve unless you double them up as Tramgauge did. The oem can-am bushings on the front shocks are good!
