Does anyone have any spare or extra 14mm sleeves or tubing for the rear shocks. WTB and will pay for shipping.

I was hoping to get the 14mm for a proper fit, but how did you get the sleeve in the bushing. Did you drill it out?

Spent the day installing Commander springs and shocks on the front of my 700-4. Went through two spring compressors before finally just using the four ratchet strap method. What a pain. I'm not sure what I did wrong but I ended up with about 4" of lift on the front. Since I don't have the rears yet, I put spring spacers on the rear to lift it about 2.25". Took it out for a ride and now am thinking what the heck did I do wrong. My fairly smooth ride has turned in to a clunky, junky, rough, Clampett mobile. Steering feels loose as all get out, bumps transfer straight to the steering wheel. Any ideas?

I'll have to get pics tomorrow. I'm wondering if I have the preload adjusted way too high.

The fronts bolted right up. No spring compressor or ratchet straps needed. The only major noticeable thing after the install was a great ride.

I had to assemble the springs/shocks prior to install. I bought the springs locally off of a '12 Commander and the shocks off of a guy on a Commander forum, also a '12 Commander. After assembly, they bolted right up, no problem.

Is it possible that I put the rear springs up front?

I can’t see the numbers on the installed ones. I’ll pull them tonight and check. The back Springs, I think, are 706201124.

Okay, problem solved, the part number shows "yellow front spring". I knew something was wrong. Well at least I know how to break down the springs now.

I was VERY pleased with the Commander swap on my 700-4.
