An independent cannot fix this country, it's so far in debt it is impossible to recoup. The only real fix is it has to hit rock bottom, bankrupt, full depression and start over. Until then let's try a non corrupt politician. A person that may not run his mouth like a pro and spew out all talk and no show, but rather has extreme ambition and is very successful and supports the constitution that is hanging on a thread because of unaccountable liberal democrats.

It's not just liberal democrats that are unaccountable. Both parties have brought this country to where it's at.

I don't dispute any of that.. But give me a good option before we go and throw away a real chance at breaking the system. If a half ass canidate wins on a 3rd party ticket and isn't worth a s***... It will only hurt the cause in the future when a good canidate comes along. I don't think Johnson is it. And the democrat socialist sure as s*** isn't!!

You need to actually research Johnsons two term record as governor of New Mexico, he's no half assed candidate. But here's the deal, pick any other independent that suits your fancy. My point is that this two party system has delivered us to where we are at. Doing the same thing over and over isn't sane.

Btw, on average 500 Americans register to run for the presidency each cycle. Gary Johnson isn't the only alternative. It's just that far, FAR too few Americans care enough to get involved, perfectly willing to be governed by their inferiors to do the work necessary to suss out and support individuals far more credible to run our nation than the candidates fielded by the two large major and dinosaur parties.

His platform is posted in this thread, and no, he's certainly not more liberal than she. It's simply that centreists (those in the middle) would prefer Johnson over Trump! Americans that are balanced, ie, in the center, don't prefer a president that's a massaginist, Islamophobic, racist, knuckle dragging bigget for president.

I'm sorry. You scrolled far beyond the Pioneer forums, found a "political rant" thread and clicked on it to say that. Why not add your opinion while you're here, or just not enter. The "other topics forum" states clearly that we may post "anything we like" in it. No hard feelings, but I don't see where your posts have been constructive to the topic.

There we go, I had a suspicion that you'd hadn't had enough of this on Facebook. If you've read my posts here, you've seen that I'm no fan of Clinton. But if you like the Keystone Pipeline, TPP, Wall Street, the MIC, gratuitous wars and support special interests, then I can't imagine why you'd oppose Clinton??

The threads are separate, I would think we can all recognize that everyone has an opinion and generally if someone else does not share your opinion it must be the wrong opinion. Opinions are not going to change over an argument on the internet, but we can better understand why the other person is wrong.

Just because we don't all agree on who to vote for doesn't mean we don't agree on other things i.e.: we probably would not buy a popo, Bacon is a magical meat, and Honda should release a sport sxs this year.

If we constantly surround ourselves with people that share the exact same opinions that we do, we are no better than a bratty millennial screaming for their safe space, because someone else has an opinion that they don't agree with. We're assuming each other are adults.

Enough tongue in cheek from me.

Back on topic, attack the candidates not each other. Any topic is welcome here on the other topics thread. HOWEVER discussion needs to remain civil and productive, it has began pushing the limits of both the last page or two, if the lack of respect for each other continues I will lock the thread(bash the candidates all you want.)

For anyone interested the material is readily available. As First Lady, HRC was a strong proponent for the use of military force in Rwanda, though she failed to persuade her husband. She was first on the bandwagon to use military force in Kosovo, in 1998 she gave a speech in the Whitehouse map room insisting that something needed to be done about Saddam Hussein. She voted for the Iraq war in 2002. As Secretary of State she pushed for the use of force in Libya and Syria. Even after she left the Obama administration she continued to urge for military support for Ukraine..............she's a hawk!!! And GHW Bush is likely to vote for Clinton.

I have but I question how much digging you've done..it appears you're just reading what you want to hear! Do you know Johnson? Do you know anyone that does?
