With the Honda roof the over hang to put a light bar there if you install a windshield they both can't occupy the same space. I learned on our P1000-5. I am going with a Rough Country 52in single row down low out front of the quarter windshield. The top tends to scrub trees especially after you lift it.

When he is feet deep in a mudhole does he still have to worry about scrubbing trees with the roof?

Good info. She said she wants it up high on this one, but if I have to I will mount it in front of the little lower windshield like I did on her P700-4. Edit: Heres a few more pics. I dont mind showing it off even though its not ours anymore lol. Its kinda sad to see it go. :(

She looked good, that does kinda suck. I miss our ol 700 myself
Yeah it was a nice machine. Ill miss it for sure. I told my wife that the trade in process was so easy that maybe 6 months or a year down the road I might take the portals and 35s off of my P5 and trade the P5 in on a 700 2 seater and put the portals and 35s on it right off the bat. So maybe we'll have another at some point down the road.

You'll miss the P5 then. It's a vicious cycle.

Ok I got home today and the speaker box thingy had been delivered along with the winch. The 6 gang switch panel got delivered yesterday, but she dont like the size of it, so Im just gonna mount it temporary tomorrow probably and when the 8 switch panel comes in Ill switch them out. The speaker box thing is pretty nice. Its got a bluetooth stereo in the middle and four 6.5" Kicker speakers. They light up and flash different colors, or you can just put them on one color and leave it. Its got l.e.d. dome lights also. The box has 3 switches on it. 1 for the stereo, 1 for the speaker lights, and 1 for the 2 l.e.d. dome lights. I dont know what the wattage is, but my P5 has a 500 watt bluetooth amp going to two 8" wakeboard tower speakers, and its louder than mine. It doesnt have a lot of bass though. It came pre wired with about a 10' power lead in a wire loom that I ran on the inside of the drivers side front rollcage upright. It pops out at the bottom just above the bolted connection and sneaks through a crack by the drivers front fender and goes under the hood to the battery terminals. So no zipties holding wires to the rollcage tubing. I will put up pics of that tomorrow. Heres a couple of pics of how it came in the box and a few crappy ones of it lit up and playing tonight. Yall have a good one!

I mounted the 6 gang switch plate today for the time being until the 8 gang switch plate comes in. I extended the front diff line and radiator cooling fan hoses up high in the hood and coiled up a bunch of extra hose, just waiting on the snorkle to come in. Thats pretty much all I did to it today. I had to replace the right rear c.v. axle and my 4x4 shifter cable on my P5 because we're going mudding tomorrow at Hogwaller. Heres a few pics of the temporary 6 gang plate and of the speaker box in the daytime and showing how I ran the wire loom through the rollcage tubing. Yall have a good one.

Well I came home today to the wifes wheels and snorkle waiting for me. I opened the snorkle box only to find that the top piece was missing! This f***ing s*** always happens to me! Its the whole damn reason I ordered the Warrior Snorkle is because the top piece that you run the vent lines through, and it wasnt in the box! I got it from sidebysidestuff.com I ordered it 2 fridays ago and Im already ticked off it has taken this long to get here, and when I open it the main piece is gone. I have already gotten ahold of them and the lady on the phone told me to send pictures of what came in the box, so I sent her pics. I will let yall know how that turns out. On a different note, the wheels look pretty good. I will get to it this weekend. Ok Im out! Yall be good.

Well I got off the phone with Cory at snorkelyouratv.com, which is the company that sidebysidestuff.com orders the snorkel kits from and he says he's shipping out the missing piece today. I also got her winch strap in lastnight but I was pissed and forgot to put a pic. Heres a pic of the winch strap.

Yes I hope so. I should be able to build it up to the point where the fancy missing piece needs to go on I guess. I can busy myself with mounting her tires to the new wheels anyway. I thought she was getting the bracket lift but it turns out she didnt. She did order the SuperATV forward and arched a-arms though for the front to help with tire clearance until I can order the C-fab set up she wants. So those should only be on there for a few months maybe before I take them off. I also gotta mount the winch, install the 2nd battery I got for her, take the 6 switch panel out and put the 8 switch panel in when it arrives. I also ordered one of those battery isolator charger thingys that I have no idea how to wire up lol. So Ill have plenty to do in the upcoming weeks.

I want a set of those C-fab arms they have a built-in lift. That 1000-5 is coming together quickly. The winch is real easy are you using the KFI mount plate?

Pull the front bumper off 6 bolts be weary of the bottom two they have tacked on nuts my front end after changing my winch lead is running 5 bolts one broke loose i don't have a welder to tack another nut in place. I had to borrow a dewalt impact my cordless Ryobi 1/2in couldn't turn it.
