Trail report. First trip out on 30's amd SATV forward A arms.
LOVE the clearance and ride on 30's. Had some concern with the mudholes on the Grippers, but made it though all of them no problem. Several were about 6" inches of water in the floor board.

Rocks, that is why i go these! Freakin awesome in the rocks and ledges. Made a few ledges i was never able to on Bighorns.

I did kill a sidewall and a balljoint in one nasty spot. Hope this was just a freak. I will tear it down if it starts leaking and add a boot inside.

Snap rings for lower joints are next.

There was a rock ledge that had just busted and had some sharp rocks. Also was a half burried steel culvert that i thought I missed. Dont know which got it.

These things stuck to rocks like glue.

Cool thing about the whips?
Turn them on when backing the trailer and they make great backup lights while trailering.

Earlier this summer i had issues with the Viper Max that almost left us in a bad jam in Windrock. I ran across a Superwinch Terra 45 for a good deal. The Viper had gotten water in it. Got it cleaned up and working . It will go on the back soon.

Used the Superwinch several times past few trips. MUCH quieter and is stronger.
Will see how it holds up.

Be careful those whips don't smash back into your roof if you catch a limb. I killed some like that on my ATV and got shorter ones for P1K because of it. On the ATV they bent way back then sprung forward into my speaker and would only flicker for a second then go out.

They are mounted at a backwards angle to help some. They hit a few times. Got to sort that out. Tennis ball maybe or something..

I went to Tractor Supply and got some clear tubing, split it and zip tied it on about 8 inches long

It's nice to see the Terra45 next to a other brand. The body is bigger which surprises me because it packages very well. Hearing that it's quieter and faster is cool. The biggest plus side to me is the Terra45 is one of the lowest current draw winches on the market at 4500lbs, it's also been shown to pull over 4500 with a strong electrical system. I think you'll really like the upgrade

Santa came early. SATV rear arms and a JBL Prv-275 head unit for my stereo setup.

Got both installed today.

SATV arms first. This was a 2 beer per side install. Only issue was bottom frame mounts had to be spread a little to get the joints/arms in the bottom. Top slid right in.
