All my Ruffstuff tube gussets came yesterday. Going to brace every damn tube underneath .... got to figure out how to straighten some of them.

Braced the under belly pretty early and it seems to be holding up good.

Then it will be time for a rear winch and I will call it done for awhile.

Combo weighs 57 lbs apiece. Got a tire grooving iron that may change that. Going to get a few trips on them first. Definitely not a mud tire but hopefully good in the rocks.
About an inch to clear a 5 gallon bucket

Now if the rain. Will stop long enough for me to put gussets and skids back on.

So, in between rain storms I got my arms finished and wheels and tires mounted.

I could be wrong but those look like they might be a directional tread and mounted all the same way. They probably function alright being a symmetrical tread but it would drive me crazy. I’m basing this off of forward travel and direction of side lugs. I like the bronze.

Look at the tread pic a few posts before. Unidirectional.
Nothing on sidewall about directional either. Got the tires at a great deal.
So far they go pretty well except deep mud, which I avoid if at all possible.

I'd not, I got a tire groove and not afraid to use it!

Steel nutsert installed. Everywhere else I just drilled and tapped the gussets.

Fully welded. That took awhile!
