Well after what seems like forever to make a decision, I put a deposit down on a 2016 P1000-3 base model (olive green). I'm satisfied with the deal that I made. I used the $500.00 accessory credit to get the hard roof, L.E.D. headlamps, and the front bumper (I will be doing the installs myself). The dealer gave me a 10% discount on the remaining balance of the accessories. They had to order a couple of the accessories, so I will be bringing it home in about a week, when they get everything in. I inspected the Pioneer very well. I really like the quality, and loved the quiet and smooth manner of the machine on the test drive. The dealer needs to make an adjustment to the 4wd selector, as turf mode wouldn't engage fully. I didn't find that to be to serious. The wife and I are very excited to hit the Wisconsin trails!!! I will post pics when I take delivery next week.

Yeah! Congratulations we will need to meet up this summer. Where do you live? I'm in Janesville.

I have the 5-3 combo set up. 3.5 hrs and just now starting to like the transmission. Got my rattles worked out today on doors and bed. I've had several sxs and really like this one.

The rack in the back, is that for a grill. HA! Thought about doing that to my P5, even had the roof installed. Then changed my mind.

Well, I picked up the new P1000 yesterday. Very exciting. Started putting on the roof tonight. Can't wait to see it with all of the accessories mounted.

You are going to like this ride, just need a P5 to haul around in the bed for tight places. Rode w/ some people who have the 500's and I'm impressed with them, a little tippy, but very nimble.

Let us know about the seat heat issue, it's really bad on the P5's, but they have the full width rear floor boards. Your only has it over the engine

Well here are some pics of my machine with all of my Honda accessories installed. Once I installed the new LED headlamps in the housings, I found them to be very loose. I couldn't find anything wrong, just seemed that's how they were. I ended up putting some orings between where the headlamps pivot in the housing, and that seemed to tightened them up. I have quite a list of things to do before I make my first trip. Find a cargo box, mount my fuel can, install battery tender pigtail, give it a good look over, etc. Mostly small things, but I just want it to be perfect for its maiden voyage.
