Went ahead and pulled the skids tonight. I had kind of planned on doing it after Takeover but really did not want to. Clumps of mud clinging to the the skids. I washed them down really good and will install next weekend. Plan on tipping the Honda angled on its side to spray the bottom off and maybe if I am ambitious enough I will run a few wires while the skids are off for future projects.

Any thing else I need to look for and check while these are off?
This past weekend was more maintenance

- Replaced the Hard top off with my screen top from Spidershade for the summer.
- Installed BCF harness Bar
- Changed out the Dif fluid and put in Syn 75W-140 and just a little lucas oil stabilizer
- Tilted over and washed the underside really good
- While the Skids were off I went ahead and ran a few extra wires for future projects while also cleaning up the existing wiring running under the floorboard. Had I know all that I would eventually do I would have run just one big loom in the beginning.
- Reinstalled the Skid plates - if I do this again I think I might order all new hardware I did reinstall with anti seize this time.
Still need to reconnect my interior lights that are on the middle rops
I don't know I still cant seem to get mine clean lol every time it dries there is still dirt everywhere. I would like to find a hot water power washer I could rent once to see if that makes a difference. Need to find a local car wash with hot water to try it.. Granted I really only want to clean it really good once a year. What are you charging for a "MAJOR" cleaning?
Looking good!!!!!

Took time today to replace the brake pads all around, grease the SATV arms where I could, tighten the SATV arm jam nuts - with added Locktight and greased the bearings with an over the axle greaser. I had had a squeak in the driver side rear but that is all gone and the Honda runs with no squeaks at least for now.
O I also replaced the bushing in the steering box and the passenger side tie rod as it had a slight bend in it. Since I had one on hand and everything was off I figured might as well
Brakes - rear brakes needed replacing bad

Front breaks still had some life in them but they were wore down just below a quarter of the new ones
Pics of the bushing- I can’t really tell if the old was that worse or not but the new one did tighten up the wheel play at lease a little bit.

It would have been quicker with a lift lol.. it does not take that long to change out the padsAbout to do all that and then some, how quick was the brake job?
I’ll have to go look but I know you have more miles than me. While I have been in some mud... I would not say that I am in a lot of mud.. but breaking on some of the bigger down hills here with rocks probably wore through them faster as well. How many miles on it? I may need brakes soon.

I will check them out. Did you get honda replacements or something else?@Cuoutdoors check you back pads first, those have a lot less material than the fronts. I could have left my fronts on there a little while longer but definitely had to change the backs. I was a little surprised that they had worn down that much myself. If it had not been for a squeak on my last ride I probably would not have thought it time to check them.
