This is the # I called if you are int interested (866)-784-1870. I talked to a person in the pioneer 1000 technical department. I did not get it in writing, he said it would not void the warranty. Maybe I will call back and ask again and see if they will email me saying that it is approved.Without seeing it in writing within the manual I couldn't do it! I most likely wouldn't be starting it when it is -20 below. If I had to I have heaters that I could put in the engine compartment that would help warm it up a little.
The W number in 0-5-10W-30 stands for winter. So an 0W flows better at cold temps than a 5W. The -30 is the weight at 212 deg. So a 0W-30 and 10W-30 will have very close viscosity at 212 deg but the 0W will flow better when cold. This is the # I called if you are int interested (866)-784-1870. The reason that I called honda is that the dealer sold and told me that HP4 (witch is a synthetic blend) is what they recommend for cold whether applications. After reading my manual and it says noting about synthetic I decided to call Honda directly before I pour it into my machine. The W number in 0-5-10W-30 stands for winter. Looks great. Watching your post makes it look like it took 10 min to do!

@JACKAL @CumminsPusher Can you tell me why my gauge did not appear as your did and whether or not I will need to reset?
Also, all gears work great, auto & manual, including sport mode all work! No issues
Thanks, all credit to @CumminsPusher i studied his Thread Religiously!Nice work @Eltobgi !
Could it have been the battery disconnect prior to unplugging electrical?I'm surprised it didn't make you do a transmission reset

I agree! But what does the manual say?As complicated as the tranny is, I would definitely do the reset.
