Thought I'd start a thread on this. With fuel prices as they are and climbing I'm sure a lot of people are on the fence or have decided not to go all together. Ride sharing may make the difference for some and just helpful to others.
So, I'll start: I'll be driving from WI, just outside of Mpls/St Paul, MN. Leaving early Tues morning June 7th. I have room on my trailer for a 500/520 or an ATV. Anyone passing through from the Dakota's or anywhere West? Or anyone along the way?
My route will be 90/94, skirt Chicago, 80 into IN, down 65 through Indy. I have to pickup my copilot in Dayton, OH, so plan to spend the night there Tues night. Leave Wed morning and arrive RRB around noon Wed. Split fuel cost from wherever we meet up and return trip. I will pay for your hotel room in Dayton for Tuesday night. Any takers?
All others, feel free to use this thread and start posting your route and if you have machine hauling space or need/want to hop on with someone to lessen the blow of the cost of fuel.
