Need to figure out a frame mod for the bucket seats, sure don’t want to go up or forward. You have the heavy full skids?

UPI skids, they're 3/8" UHMW. Would have went with the SSS but already had aluminum Ricochet Rock Sliders. I'm snorkeled and vented, full shield, half shield, jack and spare, second battery, console, T Bar, box, Roto Pax's, stereo, power steering, WE on all four, tachometer, alarm, wheels and tires, bash plate, led's, silencer...there's nothing left.

Lol, oh the locker will go in when they come out. I thought about rock lights and whips but don't do much night riding. I do have indirect green led's inside. I have the Honda cargo bag already. Was looking at radios but nothing has grabbed my attention enough yet. If I don't have it I've thought about it and decided against it for one reason or another. A small lift would be welcomed but haven't seen one that's bullet proof yet.

Did a little testing tonight. I added some spring preload on the front shocks , so I could get it back to stock height. I am right at 10 1/2" to the bottom of the frame , with true 26" tires. Before I installed the W.E. shocks , I was sitting at 11".

I am running all 4 shocks at 4 clicks from the soft settings. I don't know why or how a preload adjustment would improve the ride, but it did!!!!

Tomorrow I plan on adding more preload to the rear springs , so that the rear is about 1/4" higher than the front , just because of the gear I carry...........I am loving these shocks .......daaaaaaaang !

Funny to read your heights because I've always been at 10 1/2" stock so that's what I set the fronts at. I plan on taking it up a 1/2" front and back. Fronts are set at 3 and plan to start the rears at 4.

Great news!!! Any improvement to stability, or just comfort ride improvement??

I hate that damn hill! I don't think any suspension would be smooth through that.
Hahaha, Don’t you worry.. I’ll make sure we don’t go that rout again;)

Played with the spring preload on the rear tonight. Added preload to get the rear at 10 3/4" height and took it for a ride , we'll it seems stiffer now. I turned the adjustment down 1 click and go for another ride. Better but not as nice as it was yesterday.

One thing I noticed , these springs are very sensitive to preload adjustmentd !

I will be removing the preload that I added tonight and put it back to the setting I had yesterday.........It really felt good with that setup.

I think I will add some 1/2"-3/4" spacers to the springs , so I can get my 11" ride height/clearance back without adding preload to the springs !

Maybe I am not understanding this, but what is the diffence in adding spacers and threading the preload adjustment down? Doesnt both limit the distance between each end of the spring?

My guess is the more horizontal the A arms are the better the ride. Trade offs between clearance and ride quality. As you've raised the height, and increased the A-arm angle, that may have had more effect on the ride than the preload.

It will give me lift without needing to add preload.

I agree with Jeep, I think it's exactly the same. When you add preload you lengthen the shock, adding a spacer will do the same thing. Unless I'm missing something?

You are correct. Your preloading in both situations.

My Titan has a level kit with front coil spacers, it stiffened up the ride.
