Ok , TGIF, time for some P500 projects
Rear fenders, have to pay price for buying ITP wheels and BH 2.0 11" on the rear (wheel base now 53" and dirt flies ahead of me)
I've used Flexy Flares 2.25" from
Low Range Off Road: One Stop for Suzuki and Toyota Off Road Parts
Rivet gun first time in my life, it was fun
Tips:
1. Cut a peace of flexy flare about 1" longer for any incorrectness in your initial length measurement
2. flat washer #6 you use on internal side at the open end of rivet (see pic, you will see that fist rivet was just opened without washer, but with washer it will distribute pressure better and hold tighter.
3. attach flexy falre initially with 4-5 rivet distributed throughout as points of reference and then about 2-3" steps
4. use 5/32" drill bit
5. cut out half of the holding strip (inner side of flexy flare, you will see there is even cutting line, it will reduce bending pressure and help you to align better)
6. project price ~ 40$
7. They are made of rubber and should be easy to get through 50" trail gates, if you decide to put them in front also.
Next project HDPE front flares.
