Ok , TGIF, time for some P500 projects :)

Rear fenders, have to pay price for buying ITP wheels and BH 2.0 11" on the rear (wheel base now 53" and dirt flies ahead of me):eek::eek:

I've used Flexy Flares 2.25" from Low Range Off Road: One Stop for Suzuki and Toyota Off Road Parts

Rivet gun first time in my life, it was fun :)

Tips:
1. Cut a peace of flexy flare about 1" longer for any incorrectness in your initial length measurement
2. flat washer #6 you use on internal side at the open end of rivet (see pic, you will see that fist rivet was just opened without washer, but with washer it will distribute pressure better and hold tighter.
3. attach flexy falre initially with 4-5 rivet distributed throughout as points of reference and then about 2-3" steps
4. use 5/32" drill bit
5. cut out half of the holding strip (inner side of flexy flare, you will see there is even cutting line, it will reduce bending pressure and help you to align better)
6. project price ~ 40$
7. They are made of rubber and should be easy to get through 50" trail gates, if you decide to put them in front also.

Next project HDPE front flares.

Looking good. I used those flexi flares on my ford ranger.

Finalized front fenders using High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Width 12 In., Length 48 In., Thickness 0.125 In.

Bought on Ebay , found also in walmart 1ZAX3 Sheet Stck, 12 In. W, 48 In. L, 0.125 In. T - Walmart.com

Had to weld two U bolts to create a mount point at the top, the rest 3 u bolts from no welding required. I think I made them a bit wide, like a an inch wider then tires, will test and might need some trimming.

Looks great Solrus, I did a similar mount but used Honda push pins to hold 3mm thick UHMW on with, at the top used the stock stud (with metric nut) and fender washer, in the upper corner headlight bolt. I also extended mine down a bit lower using rubber mud flap pop riveted on. The notion with the rubber mud flap and push pins is when you back up if you pinch the flap between a stump/rock and the tire, the tire will pull the flap off. With the push pins it's like a fuse you don't really wreck anything if your careful. Worst case I tear off the rubber flap, the UHMW is incredibly strong, so be careful backing up.

I also put rear flaps infront of the rear wheels and this helps lots with the keerap off rear wheels. Pix in my sig link.

Came across Koplin gun rack for ATV on local craigslist for 50$ brand new in the box. Was very tempted to mount it on my p500 for this price.

:)

I have one similar to the pix Solrus and it works great keeps the mud and keerap off, plus leaves more room inside the cab. I've mounted it across the rack and just use bungie cord to hold it in place. I actually found mine on the highway, brand new in the middle of no where Northern BC, a few years back. If I mounted mine like the pix it'd be so covered in mud, would be a mess to pull apart. I've a 1894 SS Marlin carbine lever 44 mag rifle that I made a water proof soft case for that works awesome. Usually just have it inside the cab as its so handy to pack. Case it made from the synthetic over the highway trucking tarp. It glues together similar to contact cement, very tuff material, also going to make slip in liner out of synthetic fleece. So I just made a tapered tube the shape of the 44, on the ends I just roll them over like a dry bag and have fast ex bucks to secure. Simple easy to make and tough.

I didn't see them on your list.. Maybe that's why you shouldn't text/forum and drive?
