Just looked that one up, only one cross bar. Looks to me like there would be flexing that would lead to eventual problems????

That’s why I went with the JEI as I run 32’s, it’s built heavy duty and I use it to store a jack, axe and shovel. Best built for the money I think.

I wonder if JEI would make the adjustments themselves for a horizontal fit?

It mounts through the wheel, the mount is bolted to the carrier.

I Later moved the RotoPax mount to my bed extender for easier access and to take some weight off the spare carrier when accessing my trunk.

With the hardware sent there is no way this will mount through the tire, it doesn't match printed instructions or E-mail instructions prior to purchase and no images of mount. From JEI: "There’s a separate mount for the fuel can that bolts through the center hub of the spare and tightens down to the tire carrier. " This mount won't do that, it will work for a bed extender mount but not on the spare tire... hoping to get a pic of the RotoPax spare tire mount... or someone that can explain how this fits

Sorry, I misunderstood your request. Here's what you need to mount what you have to the JEI carrier. The single bolt attaches to the spare carrier and your RotoPax mount bolts up to the two holes on the piece pictured below.

I be happy to throw this in the mail for $20 priority shipped if you need it.

Thanks for the images, and the offer. I started working on fabricating a similar type mount, I may do what you did and relocate it to reduce weight on the wheel to get trunk access....The mount in your images either was not shipped or lost due to open package, and no online pics from JEI of how it mounted.

I ended up making my own, I used to 25 mm x 50 mm nylon pucks, drilled and tapped to M12-1.75 I also drilled and tapped the RotoPax mount. I threaded the nylon pucks aren't you a M12*80 stainless bolt with blue Loctite on a second one. Then I thread the RotoPax mount onto the M12 Bolt. When I know that it pulls everything against the tire and keeps it snug.
