It looks really good to me. The way I installed it didn't increase the noise. I have cleaned up the cut I had at first and shortened the pipe inside the outside pipe. This is a old pic.

So you're saying the big, honking tip you see isn't the actual pipe?

That' s just the way I installed it. The way it is installed per the instructions, is you leave the factory spark arrester out and just put the tip on. It is louder that way.
