Stainless steel exhaust tip

Anyone added one of those 3" stainless steel exhaust tips? Obviously the stock one get's rusty pretty fast here in the Midwest. Below I have a link to a place that makes one. I'm not looking to improve HP or make it loud. But I like the idea of a stainless tip, and maybe a little more deep rumble.

This one is a perfect fit even tho it doesn’t say Honda on it the holes line up exactly . Just a tad bit deeper sound that the stock one.

I like the looks of that as well as the price. I think I'm going to have to give it a try! I can't see paying $100 or more for one of those stainless tips. Seems crazy to me.

Cancel. The tip I posted is for a pioneer 1000. Not sure if it will fit a talon. There wasn’t a talon tag beside the topic so I figured it was for the pioneer 1000. I also saw @Montecresto posted before me Asking about it and I know he has a pioneer 1000. I got confused. Sorry for the mistake. If you already ordered it, I’m sure you could sell it to someone with a p1k in about 2 seconds on here.

Back to square one. I'll dip my foot in the pond and order one of these. On their website they do have a link to a youtube video that has an audio clip of what it sounds like. But that probably isn't a good representation of what it really sounds like.
Also, this is for the Talon. I put this post under Talon 1000 Modifications and Accessories. But it sounds like it may have gone to some other location.

Sharp may have seen it in his email alert and went straight to it that way and not noticed it was the Talon forum, happens all the time. I doubt it showed up somewhere else......

Roger that. I'm not a tech guy, so I'm happy when I don't mess things up. I was like "how did I post that in the wrong spot!!' All good.

I did a stainless tip on mine about 3 years ago and love the sound. Not too loud. One word of advice, use never seize on the 3 bolts that hold it in place. It will keep them from gaulding or messing up the threads if they are ever removed.

It was for the one that Sharp had posted, which fits the pioneer not the Talon....
I think he took it down. Just a little errors all...👍

It looks really good to me. The way I installed it didn't increase the noise. I have cleaned up the cut I had at first and shortened the pipe inside the outside pipe. This is a old pic.
