Terry I finally drove my wife’s X this past weekend and really hated the ride quality compared to my R. I know you did the bandit tender springs, now that you’ve had them for a while. Would you do them again or do a full spring upgrade? I’m trying to decide if I do all 8 springs or just the 4 tenders. Have you driven an R to compare?
Thanks!

We are super happy with the ride quality with the Bandit springs for how and where we ride. I'd do exactly the same if I had it to do over. I have not driven an R on the trails so not sure how they would compare.

Thank you for your input.
Well if we ever attend the same rides at mulberry or buckhorn you can take mine for a spin. You won’t believe the difference and my R is stock!

Looks really good. Are you keeping the rear bumper or tying into the cage.

Thanks. Actually neither of those. I decided to get the HMF rear bumper that has an integral hitch instead of the SATV that I had on it. It has a good bolt on connection to the rear bar.

HMF Defender bumper with integral hitch came today. Just in the nick of time to get it fit up before the cage goes to powder on Monday.

I am going to sell the SATV rear bumper and hitch if anyone is interested. $250 for the bumper and $75 for the hitch or $300 for the pair. Both are basically brand new. Just decided to go a different direction.

Looking good. Quick question for you: are those bumper clamps made for 2” or 1.75” tubing?

I’ve got a deposit down with Krash and he uses 1.75” so I’m not sure if it’ll be feasible with that setup.

They are made for 2". I used some hard rubber I had from another project to make spacers to make up the difference. My cage is 1 3/4" also.

Latest video is up on the channel. Elite SXS Engineering battery box and True battery isolator. Also a general overview of the electrical system on the X. Thanks to everyone that watches and subscribes to the channel.

Thanks for taking the time for that video, Terry - I'd wondered about an aux battery and its wiring. I understood exactly what you did and could/will easily copy it. Your presentation showed it's not magic, it's just a few wires. 👍

The rest of your wiring, however, could power the Starship Enterprise.

Thanks. I'm glad at least part of it was helpful. :) I like things to be on separate circuits so if there is an issue it's obvious what is causing it. Makes for a lot of wiring but a necessary thing in my book anyway.

I'm new to SxSs, coming from dirt bikes. Having all the watts I need to run whatever I want and the space to mount said niceties is completely new to me. So your fuse block and wiring is something I'll work up to in the coming months - right now it's a bit daunting even though I've done aux. wiring on most of my vehicles over the years. BTW: Nice work. I have that same fuse block, bought for another project and never installed. :) #I'mbuyin'
