I think you guys should start marking your filters with a permanent marker or scratch them a little bit with your pocket knife when you install them. That way if you do take it to the dealership again you’ll know if they changed it or not.

Good idea! Wish I knew for sure! Tomorrow I will investigate a lot better, and give her a little TLC! Did a few things tonight but my 3 daughters wanted to go for a ride around the yard with lights and music!

Lol, well it’s actually 4 daughters, my oldest is away at college! Had my identical twin 4 yr olds and my soon to be 9 yr old! The four year olds were in charge of the music! Made for an interesting ride!

Lol, but my daughters are truly a blessing! And as far as the curse, I think it may be weakening as I thought I would have surely put the Beast on its side by now

So gave the BEAST some attention today! Started by checking the oil level...

So I added a quart...

Still nothing... so...

With two quarts it was between the lines

So after I filled it with oil, I changed the filters because It was bothering me, and if they didn’t take the time to fill the oil then why the hell would they change the filter!!!!

I would say they didn’t change it from the looks of the Engine oil cover

Nice and clean!!!

Lost about half a quart with changing the filters, and I know some will be saying why fill it first? The reason is to see if it was filled by the techs!

From the looks of it they spilled the two quarts outside of the engine

Needless to say they didn’t put back the floor lighting or re secure cords, but I didn’t expect them to do that anyway!!!!

Warranty’d Switch came in so figured while I’m fixing things...

Notice the nuts through the face! Didn’t get the new switch in time so had to fix the old one temporarily!

And while I had the switch out of its location I figured I would run some wires from the dash to the back of the machine!

And then I decided to add some side ground lights...


And not pictured... hooked the XKGLOW SYSTEM to the brakes so they turn red when the brake lights are applied!

Well that’s just it...I didn’t pay! Everything was free! That’s why I said I didn’t know how to feel about the whole thing!

There was a discussion about a charge because of my lighting in the rear floor panel, but after some discussion he agreed that there would be no charge! At that point the Beast had already been done so can’t assume it was done out of spitefulness!

But a guy shouldn’t have to spend a day going through their machine to make sure it’s done right!

Good news is that the transmission seems fine to this point! But will run her tomorrow to make sure!

That is unbelievable. I would let them know they owe you fasteners. And the horses*** job they did... 2 quarts low! Probably lucky you bent the tie rod!

Dropped her off with 2822 and was at 2866 after I finished service today!

44 miles which consists of about 35-40 miles driving in the ditch and the rest consisting of their testing and my driving around the yard with the kids!
