The new tires installed complete with balancing beads inside. Wanted it to roll nice and give a little longer tire life. The tire shop screwed up one of the Tire Pressure Monitors so tire install was free and they will change it out when I get a replacement.
Lift kit engaged. Wife and daughter came down to help which was awesome for the cage. New cage didn’t make it 50ft before it’s getting cut up lol.
Discovered the rear section of the frame was twisted a little from the endo so onto the frame rack for a small tug.

What’s up with taking off the rims and tireso_O I was hoping to see those custom painted tracks mounted
No snow buddy. Doubt they will go on till after Xmas especially with new BigHorn copy’s, there’s plenty of traction for a couple feet.

It’s been a b****. Driver side a post is twisted back and the frame directly under the box is pushed down hard on right side. Didn’t notice because we haven’t used it but the tailgate wouldn’t open hardly, passenger bedside framework is pushed in. Took a lot harder hit then originally thought Been a long pissed off day. Going to be a long day tomorrow. Done for tonight!

Long ass day. Pulled the frame and front cross bars/a frame under the dash around and got things lined up. Pioneer tied on the frame rack was a little new even for me.
3 plug welds per cut bar and full sleeves all the way around. Bodywork almost done. Wife is changing out the step bars now and front fenders.

My son cane down for a bit and helped with some welds. He’s a great welder. Also cut out passenger grab bar and welded into driver side. Getting there.

Still straightening as we go.

We’ve always been in everything together. It’s been tough at times that way but rewarding others. This Sxs is all of ours so everyone helps. I’m grateful to have the help:)

Right now it’s just taking the wreck out. Btw I did weld braces in for the front control arms. I’ve never had slop in there but don’t want any. That sounds like preventative maintenance. Other then that and tires this weekend has been all about replacing bent crap.
I wish it was the cool stuff but Clutch is becoming her own.

Well cage is done! Factory finish and bodywork is totally covered. Was never there except missing a few inches and hey it’s probably the only Pioneer with a drivers side factory oh s*** handle.
Sucks the last one was about 5 hours cut and done, this one not so much!

Me likey Likey, So no more Rolly Polly ok?
What? I’m not going to drive any different, she’s not a trailer queen. This cage will hold up anyways, and this time if a section gets compromised I’ll fix it rather then let it go.
Btw I f***ing love those tires, just hit 60 by my shop and they were so damn smooth!! Extra height was comfortable. Can’t wait to get them dirty!
