I’d like warn but haven’t got it. The Chinese one works well till you loose the remote...

Massively. Also puts a steel plate directly under the suspension mounts so they are protected against rocks. Actually a big fan after I see how it works.
Plate is currently not bolted but gives an idea. It goes all the way across and back of the mounts. Should be solid

Looks really strong...……. Now the question of the day,

HOW LONG BEFORE YOU BEND IT!

Welding and bodywork done. 4th time rebuilding the front bumper, it’s hard to keep the business end of Clutch up to par. Well you know with all that pavement princessing she does lol.
Red going on.

To be honest I only built the bumper so strong for that reason. I’ve cut and and put in new sections a couple times but refuse to over build it so the frame stays safe. Kinda learned that in the trade, yes something needs to give.
The only thing I did reinforce was the d-ring hooks through to the rear brackets themselves. They don’t move around.

That's what I was thinking. You make one thing stronger something behind it dies

Originally went with a larger hole in d-ring mount then cut a rubber hose to slip inside tightly to take out slop. It’s worked great to eliminate the rattle and protect the Warn shackles from chipped paint.

Warn fairlead has taken some abuse but quick trimcoat since there. Have a new light bar to install but the bumper is all fixed up for some more abuse. And I’m headed home.

Thank you buddy. It’s better, was going to wait for winter to polish up the turd but sometimes it’s hard bolting something back on that’s that rough. Only took a couple hours so screw it

Bumper redo looks great. I have the SATV frame stiffener as well and love it. Even bolted a 30” strap between the two front tabs as a pull point since I bent my last bumper with recovery hooks. Even use the open hole in bottom of stiffener to strap machine to trailer. I’d venture to say it’s best $100 you can spend if you have large wheels and tires

Ya I agree it’s money well spent! Will eliminate a lot of problems.
Finally got my factory stuff moved around enough that mine is all but in. Gotta say don’t buy one if you’re stuff is bent.
My one complaint was the 4 bolts they give to bolt the plate to the frame underneath would hang up on things. Getting some smooth head Allen’s today.
