Nice, thanks for info.

I have seen those by Rough Country shocks, there is a pretty good write up on here with non-reservoirs. Guessing no one pulled the trigger on reservoirs ones yet.

I think the reservoirs were released very recently. I think I was the first to post about it.

I officially have another project to add to the list. Achilles Desert Hawk M/T 30x9.50r15 for the pioneer for at home riding.

Getting It Just Right: 06-22-23

I spent some time today readjusting the rear pre-load on the shocks. I noticed while we were at ride royal blue the gear sagged the rear a bit. I loaded the bed up with some old car rotors for weight and turned on the pre load until I had 17" eye to eye on the shocks. After I unloaded I sit at 18" eye to eye. I used sockets to help measure from side to side as I went along. My final pre-load is now 1.65". I think it worked out well. I redid the alignment and checked over the c-fab lift and found some slightly loose nuts. I will check it again at a later date.

I installed the Rough Country under dash storage. The pre-installed net was installed in the incorrect holes. I reinstalled the net. The installation went OK. They want you to reuse your 4 of your old push pins which really do not like the thickness added by the dash storage. I made it work. Otherwise I really like it. It adds storage and does not feel like it's in your way.

I am enjoying this build. It’s very similar to mine and my next steps are in a very need of shocks….where did you order from?

The storage is nice and should come from Honda with it. I also had same issues with push pins from the Amazon one I ordered.

If Honda incorporated something every time someone said, "Honda really should do this or that at the factory", that would price the vast majority of buyers out of the SXS market.

Hmmm ... Seems I just said this the other day.

I am glad you enjoy the build thread. I do my best to try to help others see options and abilities they may be able to do to their own machine. I have learned alot on here from others as well. This forum is one of the best knowledge based areas I have ever found on the internet.

This is a thread I made on my purchase:

Road Dogs Cycles is the ebay seller I purchased from. He has a ton of stuff. He has some single fox shocks currently and sometimes has sets.

As far as I know, Ron Ayers online has the best prices on new fox shocks.

Keepin It Cool: 06-24-23

I have chosen our official Honda Pioneer Cooler. It is the Rough Country Backpack Cooler. I wanted something with a smaller foot print. A tall cooler. It seems like all I could find was backpack coolers. It looks like a nice cooler and we will be testing it out hopefully soon.

Drink Up: 06-29-23

I installed some rear door cup holders. I am slowly making progress on some projects that I have had laying around for awhile.

Another Late To Do: 06-30-23

Since 07-09-21 AKA post #39, I have had the front Honda letters in orange vinyl. I purchased the kit for the front and rear. I FINALLY did the rear letters in orange vinyl. I am not very good at it but it looks great at 10ft.

Sak-It: 07-01-23

I added some d-rings to the top of the tailgate to hang my sweet Ride Royal Blue cool kid Sak-It. I wish so badly RRB would have had their logo or name or something printed on these bags. My wife and I saw a bunch of people with them and when we realized they were an awesome glorified trash bag we had to have one. It actually proved to be quite helpful in containing our trash.

I plan to always mount the Sak-It on the left to avoid the exhaust. But my OCD required 3 rings to keep the look even. Even then I struggled with the odd number :p

I used M6 rivnuts installed to the top rail of the tailgate. I used some d-rings from Amazon. The mounting hole is too small and needs to be drilled out. I should have probably purchased a larger ring mount but I don't plan on load bearing these. They are strictly for my Sak-It. I used stainless caribiners from Menards to attach the bungees to the rings.
