Im originally from upstate NY do not miss the cold or the humidityMississippi only gets around 95-98 in the summer but the high humidity is what makes it seem hotter, same thing happens in the winter time. The humidity makes the cold that much worse but at least we don't have all that snow!

When I think of NM , that’s what I see.
DNR sent a trapper in by my camp after they tried to get my dog. They wanted to get rid of the ones that had no fear of people or dogs. That winter he caught 43 coyotes in one spot across from my camp.

Haha, there are a few in Canada now too, since it’s legal across Canada. Who would have thought.
I can't remember it ever getting to zero here much less -25.That does make a difference. And you probably don’t get down to -25 very much.
But the humidity does make a big difference in temperature.
