I built up on a hill, so I'm ok. But I can't get to my camp, all the roads that lead to heaven are flooded. They say April showers give May flowers, well, we're going to have some awesome flowers!!! Did you say you're going on a run tomorrow? The guys are planning one here also, but after 7 or 8 straight days of rain, it's going to be a winching party! I'll give this one a skip...

We were going out Saturday, but now it’s going to pour again. So not sure. Stay safe.

Well it's supposed to rain here all day and have a high of 76. A slight risk of severe weather but nothing like the last 2 events we had. At least I got all the mowing done yesterday. We are now mowing weekly till November!

Yeah, I’m looking at what you’re getting and seeing it heading this way.....and hoping it’s not accompanied by high winds so I don’t have to take everything down....

Actually, a friend of mine is going down to the race. He goes to a few every year.

Those Cajuns came from up here originally when the British deported them to the south. Up here they are Acadians. Haha. Live life to the fullest.

Last time I camped there was the early 80's. We were in a tent and almost got run over by a drunk at 4:00 am when he was attempting to jump a drainage ditch and ran out of talent.
