Canada is easy if you have a trade. Just like the USA, there is a shortage of skilled trades. Canada will welcome you with open arms if you are considered a journeyman in your trade and can pass the exams.
Every trade in Canada is based on an apprenticeship program, minimum amount of hours in the field, minimum amount of hours in a trade school. Once both are met, you can take the exam to become a full fledged skilled trade. You must meet a minimum 70% on the test to be considered a skilled trade in your province. If you score at 85% or higher, you can take your certificate anywhere in Canada.
The numbers may not be correct, It has been a long time since I have looked them up. Just flying by the seat of my pants.
