Hawthorn is what you see in front of the blind. Thorns, and very hard to get through.
The blind is a pop up one. 5x5 I think. Waterproof. It’s nice in the snow and rain.
Two years ago I called two 8 pointers in with a grunt call. My buddy couldn’t believe it. They came to within 40 yards. Too easy. No we didn’t shoot them, first day.

Oh man, here the Dr’s say they can’t fix it. I have two herniated disks touching my spinal cord. So this guy is supposed to be the best WE have. I don’t think he’d ask me to come up if he couldn’t do anything.
I get along, but it would be great to be fixed.
So fingers crossed this guy is as good as what I read about him. 😊

Wow steel posts! I didn't think they were used up north?

Not much of a fence. The deer run underneath it and over it. They will get a smell behind the blind but don’t see anything, so go by full tilt.
It’s harder for me when I don’t put a bullet in the gun. Haha. I just give them a running start.
We debated on shooting those bucks first day, but eventually let them live.

it got really ugly today. -5, wind at 20 km/h and the snow is coming down sideways,whitecaps on the water.my remedy is a nice tall mocha with a really healthy shot of baileys and a nice warm fire 😁 and i'm utving vicariously thru u tube.

The recovery was lengthy and I was very obedient to the doctors instructions which he told me would make or break the results. If you’re doing fusion, and will end up with a titanium plate like I did, it’s imperative that when he tells you for example he doesn’t want you lifting anything heavier than a half gallon of milk, listen.
I’m 14 years on and doing well. Had some irritation a few years ago, had a round of steroid injections due to swelling from ranch work, but have been great since.

I really wish you the best on this and I’m satisfied you’ll do well with the number one guy working on you....🙏🏻

-7 and the snow's on the way.Alberta got hammered.good amount of ice forming on the lake.all the smaller lakes in the area are iced over.too cold to play outside this morning so i made a carrot cake.the wifes making hoagie rolls now.my house smells like heaven 🤣
