i slept in my car in -35c once travelling through winnipeg on my way back to Vancouver.it was uncomfortable.

Lab's rule and Mick is my 9th Lab but I got talked into a full size poodle puppy girl and I gotta tell ya Caper, I called them sissy dogs forever but this little girl is smart, has a great nose, would drag a deer home for me and will do most stuff to make me happy with her. I would never have guessed...she's not sissy at all and is still a puppy...AND doesn't shed...think I'll keep her.
21F, dark and snow is coming next week. Forecast is for a couple inches a day for a week. We've seen these words before...flakes here and there for a few days then get 2 feet...we'll see.

Gotta go to the camp tomorrow for the day. My bike garage tore the zipper. Damn it. My brother tried to fix it but he’s a mechanic. Haha
I’m going to try and put a new zipper on, and if not just screw around a 12” piece of plywood sandwiched on both sides of the zipper. Hopefully I can fix the zipper, but sounds f..... Damn thing survived 259 klm , or around 155 mph, winds last winter, but didn’t do so good with the wind this year.
It takes a beating. Wide open to the water, and wind. Guess I’ll have to build a garage. Or a big shed. 😊

Not much snow there. Not good for the snowmobiles.

Yup, just said to my brother we need a garage. Or another container. He’s a manager for Hapeg Lloyd . You would think he’d be able to get one easily. 🤷🏻♂️ We have a 20’ but gets full fast.

I tried to get my wife to go along with four 60' containers to make a 120 foot long wall and stacked 2 high with 80' trusses for my shop/hanger and she said they were ugly...maybe so but very easy to put in place and build. There are two hangers built that way locally and they do sorta look like a ship yard but then I like ship yards.
Haha, I worked at the Halifax shipyard and Dartmouth shipyard. Between the two probably 20 years.
With the one , when we get another, we’ll put them far enough apart for trusses, then just strap the containers and side them.
Got lots of stories. Haha

Picked up the Falcon yesterday late and made Iowa City before stopping for the night. Now I’ll be crossing Iowa and Nebraska with a forecasted foot of snow to fall, it’s not falling yet but is already snowing in Omaha, the direction that I’m headed....🤔

I went to Cape Breton to the camp yesterday. To fix the tarp garage. Damn zipper broke on one side.
Should be good for the winter. Haha
They had no snow Sunday but of course it started snowing snow squalls from Sunday night.
Had a good trip with my RCMP cousin. Might have been speeding a little. Haha
